About Shikher Goel
Enterprise software architect specialising in regulated financial-services platforms — CRM, cloud-native integration, and agentic AI.
The arc
I am an enterprise software architect working at the intersection of large-scale customer-relationship-management platforms, cloud-native integration, and the newer wave of agentic AI — applied inside the constraints of regulated financial services.
My career began in 2011 at Tata Consultancy Services in India, where I moved from analyst to application architect over five years across telecom, manufacturing, and U.S. retail-banking engagements. I joined Capgemini's Banking & Financial Services practice in the U.S. in 2015 as a senior consultant, leading the design of a global retail-banking CRM and the origination automation platform for a major mortgage-insurance carrier.
In 2017 I moved client-side to New York Life Insurance Company — the oldest mutual life insurer in the United States — as senior Salesforce technical lead and architect. Across four years I led the engineering of the firm's advisor CRM, including the consolidation of more than 200 million customer and policy records into a single platform.
Since July 2021 I have been Vice President at JPMorgan Chase & Co. — the largest U.S. bank by assets and a Global Systemically Important Bank — leading enterprise software architecture for customer-engagement platforms inside Consumer & Community Banking. My work spans Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, AWS data and integration infrastructure, and the firm's adoption of agentic AI patterns for regulated workflows.
Alongside this, I write on Medium and was a member of the Forbes Technology Council in 2025, contribute peer reviews to IEEE conferences and major awards programmes, and hold fellowships across several professional bodies. Four peer-reviewed papers are currently in the publication pipeline, and a U.S. provisional patent on agentic-AI patterns is in drafting.
I remain committed to continued work in this central field at JPMorgan Chase & Co. — the petition documents the path forward as much as the path so far.
